Helping out in the new house

Motoki enjoyed helping plaster his room in our new house.

Haircut

Motoki wanted his haircut like Daniel Craig in James Bond.

Weekend activities

We visited a pottery exhibition. The artist is an old friend of ours. 

 Motoki signed the guest book in Japanese.

Winter Safari

We went to a Safari Park in neighboring Himeji City.
It was very cold, and the african animals seemed out of their element but we had a good time and got up close to some amazing creatures.

We fed an elephant!

First New Tooth

New Years

On Dec. 31st, We ate Mochi (pounded rice cakes) with our friends.

On January 1st, we ate New Year's dishes with Yoko's parents and visited a shrine.
